GENERAL QUESTIONS

Q: Where can the graphics and decals be installed?
A: They can be installed on any smooth, clean, wax free surface, including vehicles, glass, plexiglass, painted surfaces, fiberglass, some plastics, etc.

A: No. This is the same vinyl that is used for truck lettering and commercial signage.

A: Most graphics and decals are fine, as long as they don’t block the driver’s view. However, laws vary between states and countries, so check your local laws.

A: No. However, we update our website frequently, and you can always call in a custom order if you don’t see what you want.

Q: Will the decals effect the defroster or tinting on my windows?
A: No. The vinyl, paint and clear coat we use are designed for outdoor usage.

SELECTING AND SIZING YOUR GRAPHICS

Q: What size graphic should I get?
A: For a stock design: Sizing is already adjusted for the area the graphic will be placed on, and the type of vehicle.

For a custom design: Use a tape measure to determine the width (left to right) and height (top to bottom) of the graphic. Graphics are categorized by where they will be placed - on the hood, side, window, etc.

Q: How do I choose a color to match my car (boat, motorcycle, etc)?
A: We suggest a color that contrasts the main vehicle color (a dark paint job will highlight lighter graphics and vice versa), or that picks up an accent on the vehicle (chrome wheels, red pinstriping, etc.).

RACING STRIPES

Q:
How do I measure my vehicle for stripes?
A: Use a measuring tape to determine the total length you need for where you want the stripes. You also need to determine the height of the stripe.

Q: Can I see the stripes on the website’s display vehicle before I order?
A: We are only able to provide imaging for the stock graphics we design, but you can cut paper strips and lay them on your vehical to give you an idea of where you place the stripes and what size looks best.

Q: How do I install the racing stripes?
A: Make sure the surface is clean and unwaxed, then just follow the instructions included with the order. IMPORTANT: Most graphics are easily installed, but we don’t recommend that first-time installers attempt racing stripes without professional help.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF GRAPHICS

Q: How do I remove air bubbles after installation?
A: Most smaller bubbles will work their way out over several weeks. Larger bubbles can be removed by using a pin or Exacto knife to poke a small hole in the bubble, then working the air out with your finger or the squeegee.

Q: Can graphics be installed over fresh paint?
A: We recommend waiting at least 45 days after a vehicle is painted before installing any graphics. If the paint is not properly cured, the vinyl could leave a permanent mark.

Q: Can I wash or wax my vehicle after installing graphics?
A: Yes, wash and wax your vehicle like normal.

Q: How can I keep my new graphics looking good?
A: Wash and wax the car as usual, being careful not to use harsh chemicals or solvents. With window decals, be careful when using an ice scraper.

ORDER, SHIPPING AND PAYMENT QUESTIONS

Q: When will my order arrive?
A: Most US orders will arrive in 3-6 business days, depending on you location. International orders may take 5-14 days.

Q: How do I pay for my order?
A: We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, money orders and COD orders. (COD orders do have an additional $5.00 charge per order) Sorry, we do not accept personal checks.

Q: Why don’t you accept American Express or personal checks?
A: American Express charges merchants a higher rate than other credit card companies, and personal checks are difficult and expensive to collect on if they bounce.

Q: Why does my credit card billing address and the shipping address have to match?
A: To guard against credit card fraud.

Q: Why did I get an email stating that my address was not valid?
A: Your credit card billing address and the shipping address must match. If you receive your bills at a P.O. Box, but shipments go to a physical address, you can contact your credit card company to authorize a different ship-to address.

Q: How long will it take to make and ship my order?
A: Most stock orders are manufactured and shipped within 48 hours of order confirmation, not counting holidays and weekends. Custon designs vary due to complexity so a shipping date wil be emailed to you with your confirmation. We will email you in case of any delays.

Q: How will my order arrive?
A: All of our vinyl graphic products are shipped in sturdy cardboard tubes or padded envelopes. All designs are covered by protective adhesive paper tape, and backed by a non-stick layer to keep the tacky surface of the vinyl from sticking to anything before application.
